Überclok Limited Product Warranty
We guarantee every component in our PCs to be free of defects in workmanship and materials for three years, INCLUDING defects resulting from any overclocking we have done for you. Our overclocked PCs are just as stable as their slower siblings, but we want you to rest easy in the knowledge that, in the unlikely event that a component should fail within the warranty period, we will replace it with a equivalent or better component free of charge.
If this should occur, you must contact our technical support staff so they can open an incident record for you and confirm the status of the component. (Click here for our support page.) If our technicians determine that a component under warranty has failed, they will issue you an RMA number, and you may ship us the component at our expense (via our choice of shipping). Once the defective component has been recieved, we will send you a replacement component at our expense. If the component is found to be in proper working order, it will be returned to you, and our support staff will work with you to determine what went wrong. Replacement components will be warranted for thirty days or the remainder of the warranty period, whichever is longer.
Our support staff may need to talk you through the process of removing and/or replacing the faulty component. If you are not comfortable removing or installing components, you may ship us the entire computer at your expense, and we will repair it and return it to you at our expense. Computers shipped to Überclok for repair must be sent via a trackable carrier, and must be insured for the purchase amount. If the original packaging is not available, the PC should be prepared for shipping by an authorized shipping agent. International customers will be asked to pay an additional shipping fee.
Before you ship your computer to us, back up your data on the hard drive(s). Delete any confidential information and remove any floppy disks, optical disks, or memory cards. Überclok is not responsible for data lost during the repair process, and in fact it may be necessary to erase your data entirely, so please BACK YOUR DATA UP. ;-)
This warranty includes (and is limited to) the following components: motherboard, hard drive(s), graphics card(s), processor, memory modules, processor cooling fans, optical drives, floppy drive/media reader modules, and power supply. Überclok is not responsible for repairing or replacing components which have been damaged through negligence, post-sale overclocking, disaster, acts of nature, or forceful impacts.
Our warranty only covers components which originally shipped with the computer. We will not cover components which you or others have subsequently added to the PC. If you or anyone else increases the speed of any components beyond what we have already done, the warranty for those components will be voided. This warranty is extended only to the original purchaser of the computer.
Here comes the boilerplate:
THIS WARRANTY AGREEMENT GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS THAT VARY FROM STATE TO STATE (OR JURISDICTION TO JURISDICTION). ÜBERCLOK'S RESPONSIBILITY FOR DEFECTS IN OUR PRODUCTS IS LIMITED TO REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT AS SET FORTH IN THE ÜBERCLOK LIMITED PRODUCT WARRANTY. ALL EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES FOR THE PRODUCT, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN TIME TO THE TERM OF THE LIMITED WARRANTY PERIOD OF THREE YEARS FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE. NO WARRANTIES FROM ÜBERCLOK, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WILL APPLY AFTER THE LIMITED WARRANTY PERIOD HAS EXPIRED.
MOREOVER, ÜBERCLOK'S AND YOUR MAXIMUM LIABILITY TO ONE OTHER IS LIMITED TO THE PURCHASE PRICE YOU PAID FOR PRODUCTS OR SERVICES PLUS INTEREST AS ALLOWED UNDER THE APPLICABLE LAW. NEITHER YOU NOR ÜBERCLOK WILL BE LIABLE TO THE OTHER FOR PROPERTY DAMAGE, PERSONAL INJURY, LOSS OF USE, INTERRUPTION OF BUSINESS, 'DOWN TIME', PURCHASER'S TIME, LOSS OF USE OF RELATED EQUIPMENT, LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA OR OTHER CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, HOWEVER CAUSED, WHETHER FOR BREACH OF WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), ABSOLUTE OR STRICT LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE, OTHER THAN THOSE DAMAGES THAT ARE INCAPABLE OF LIMITATION, EXCLUSION OR RESTRICTION UNDER THE APPLICABLE LAW.
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS OR THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
